Bulk Orders and Group Orders
- We have openings for processing dates in late March through December 2026. 2025 pricing will remain in effect till April. Deposit required, and we'll plan backward from your preferred 2026 delivery date. Turnaround will be 3 to 5 weeks.
For those who have freezer space, we recommend buying in bulk. You will be able to enjoy the full array of wonderful cuts of meat and their associated flavours and textures. And it saves you money, and makes our life a little simpler as well.
***Every whole or side comes with ALL your soup bones, and dogbones/scrap/trim. You will be able to make tons of nutritious bone broth and soup stock.
Since our main government inspected processing facility closed down in 2022, we have obtained our On-Farm Slaughter Licence. Carcasses are dry-aged, cut, and wrapped at the facility of your choice. One very sad thing is that at this point we cannot expect to make bacon and hams any time soon.
In 2026 we are able to offer the option of having your animal slaughtered at a provincially inspected facility.
We are here to offer advice and recommendations about cutting and wrapping, and we take care of all the details around arranging processing, butchering, and shipping.
Wholes and Halves:
- We are now taking orders for wholes and halves, ready to butcher January through December.
- Price is $7/lb for a side or whole; including processing/cut/wrap, based on hanging weight (approximately 400 lb/side). A side of beef works out to about $2800, including cut and wrap.
- Please specify whether you prefer a heavier or lighter side.
- Cut and wrapped to your specification. We will call to discuss cutting instructions and relay them directly to the meat cutter. For those new to buying beef this way, we are happy to offer recommendations and guidance, as well as recipe ideas.
- Includes soupbones for making bone broth, dog bones, trim, etc.
- Group orders are most welcome! Several families order together and we charge everyone the price/pound based on a whole animal.
- Deposit is required, $450 per side, $800 per whole.
Mini-Side (Split quarter):
- Mini-Sides are $7.35/lb, including processing. These are a split quarter, with cuts from front and hind, including soupbones. Weights from 140 to 190 lb are available.
- These have all the cuts (including soup bones for making delicious, collagen-rich bone broth, and trim for your dog) that come from an entire side (front and hind quarter)

Roasts 3lb:
- Cross-rib
- Blade
- Sirloin tip
- Inside round
- Outside round
- Top sirloin (sometimes)
Steak 2/package, 1" thick:
- Ribeye (and back-ribs)
- Striploin
- Hanger (for braising)
- Tri-tip
- Picanja
- Inside round
- Outside round
- Eye of round (can be roasts too)
- Sirloin tip
- Top sirloin
- Tenderloin
Other cuts:
- Shortribs (can be deboned and ground or made into stew)
- Brisket
- Shank (bone-in roasts, boneless stew, or ground)
- Ground beef 1.5lb packages:
Typically about a third of the meat will be ground beef unless we specifically choose to add more cuts to the ground.
- Stew: usually people specify that they want x-number of packages.
- Soupbones
- Dogbones
- Dog scrap
- Kidney fat
- Subcutaneous fat
- Organs (if available)
