Our laying hens are allowed to truly range free all over our farmyard, and have access to grass, insects, and other forage at all times. They are not penned up, or confined in any way. During the wintertime they still can go outside if they choose. We feed them a grain ration of peas, wheat, barley, and black oil sunflowers.
