Beef Processing Dates, 2022
2021 Pricing will remain in place for beef, lamb, and pork till May 2022, so book your half, whole, or quarter soon!
Due to the effects of Covid 19, it was been very difficult to book slaughter dates in 2020/2021. We make arrangements with the processor about 3 weeks in advance, so it really helps us plan if customers book ahead of time. Turnaround is about 4 weeks from slaughter to cut/wrap/box/freeze, and shipping (if applicable). We are taking deposits for quarters, halves, and whole beef from January to November 2022.
We have several steers that are nearly finished, and they are booked into Freezer Camp late January to March 2022, so we recommend placing your deposit soon. We will have more ready July-November 2022.
Lamb Slaughter Dates, 2022
Due to the effects of Covid 19, it was been very difficult to book slaughter dates in 2020/2021. We make arrangements with the processor about 3 weeks in advance, so it really helps us plan if customers book ahead of time. We are taking deposits for half and whole pasture-raised lamb now. Lambs will be ready for butcher in June and throughout 2021. Lambs are not dry-aged for very long, so they are usually available for pickup or shipping within a week to ten days after slaughter.
Deposits can be made here for June-November processing dates.
Pork Processing Dates, 2022
We have a jolly group of pigs that are ready for freezer camp in March and April 2022. They are available by the half, whole, or quarter already cut and wrapped. They spend the winter eating nice green hay, our custom pea-based grain ration, and fruit and vegetable scraps, and will be about 200 lb hanging weight.
